Usually recognisable in their bright red and orange uniforms, the team will switch to a white get up for the race around France, said to be inspired by Bahrain’s pearling history – a world centre for pearl fishing and trading. One team that sees a significant change to its kit ahead of the Tour de France is Bahrain-Victorious. As the colours are still in keeping with the current iteration of the Uno-X jersey, it’s not going to be too much of a challenge to get used to the bright red version, and with Uno-X’s signature attacking style, we can expect to see plenty of this jersey at the front of the peloton in the Tour de France. REMA 1000’s signature ‘R’ logo sits proudly at the back of the jersey as well as on the sleeves and side panels. While the old jersey was predominantly red and yellow, the new jersey is almost completely red apart from the yellow strip along the middle with the Uno-X logo on top of it. The partnership makes clear sense as REMA 1000 is owned by the same parent company as Uno-X and it’s said that the men's and women's teams will be using some of the nutrition products sold in store as they race the Tour this summer. For the Tour de France, both the men’s and women’s squads will be backed by supermarket chain REMA 1000. Since then, however, the situation for Uno-X has changed. At the time, they cited environmental reasons for this choice and also noted that they had no changes in sponsors, so no requirement for a whole new kit.

Scandinavian team and Tour de France wildcard, Uno-X Pro Cycling were one of the few teams to keep the same jersey this season, not making any changes ahead of 2023. We’ve been keeping our eyes peeled for some of the fresh kits that will be on the start line when the Tour rolls out from Bilbao this year and have compiled a handy list below, so that there’s no confusion on race day. leg/arm warmers, extra layers, and waterproof jacket.Some teams have specific sponsor changes for the Tour de France which is why their kits get an upgrade, while others simply do it for the undeniable attention it garners on social media. On the saddle bag some pieces of kit, e.g. On the frame bag I carry inner tubes, spare parts, pump, patches, power bank. On the top tube bag I will carry some food tons of electrolytes and essentials. SOL escape lite bivy as my minimalistic sleep kit in between hotel stops. Power wise I went with a power bank to charge my gps, phone, sram batteries and lights. Key items of kit: I chose Lezyne left exit bottles to keep my hand on the handlebars. Lights are a both Raveman, CR1000 in the from and CL05 at the back.
The top tupe bag is from Apidura and the saddle bag is made by Sahoo. The frame bag is my trusty blackburn outpost.
The drive train is a Sram Force eTap AXS with an extra battery to swap on the go. Rolling over Forza Vardar 50 db wheels equiped with 700×25” Continental GP5000 tires (not shown here thank you photoshop). Bike: I’ll be exploring the Pyrenees on a Ridley Helium SLX Disc road bike.
